Why the Practice was “Unsellable”
- Too much reliance on the practice owner for both management and medical services
- Corporate buyers passed on the opportunity and single DVM buyers could not justify the price tags
- Single DVM = High Risk Purchase
- No systems or workflow in place to be able to help grow the practice into a multi-dvm hospital
Our Approach
- Implemented structured workflows and protocols, with streamlined roles
- Designed and implemented systems to support a multi-DVM operation
- Recruited two new DVMs to share the caseload, and decrease the owner’s production
- Recruited and trained support team to support the additional DVMs
- Promoted and trained a Practice Manager, so Owner can just practice medicine
- Optimized scheduling, staffing, and exam room flow
